Engine and Performance
Powering the Hyundai i10 is your choice of a nimble 1.0-litre petrol engine, capable of delivering 67PS 96Nm of torque, or a 1.2-litre producing 84PS and 118Nm of torque. Both deliver the exceptional efficiency you’d expect from a competent city run-around, with economy reaching 65.7mpg. With more than enough pace to tackle any road, you can enjoy a confident drive.
Additionally, both engines are now available with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) which offers higher efficiency than a standard automatic transmission, thanks to it's lighter weight, but gives all the other benefits of a traditional automatic.
Safety and Technology
Safety equipment in the new i10 is what really sets this new car apart from the competition. All models across the range are fitted with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) which will automatically apply the brakes in the event of the system detecting a forward impact collision, Lane Keep Assist (LKA) warning the driver of unintended departure from a lane and apply counter steering, and Ecall which automatically calls the emergency services if you're in an accident and the airbags deploy. You can also press the SOS button for emergency assistance 24/7.
